* * * TRISIS has been endorsed by NEAL McCOY! * * * “I met three girls called TRISIS. I met these girls today and I want you all to see these kids. I asked them to sing and they are absolutely terrific. They do older stuff like the Lennon Sisters and the McGuire Sisters. They're really good. These kids are really good!” ... Quote from Neal McCoy inviting TRISIS up on his stage to sing at the Central Wisconsin State Fair, August 30, 2012. TRISIS is a singing sister group blending voices in close harmonies inspired by sister acts of the mid-20th century. Comfortable in any venue (larger festivals, corporate events and private family functions), TRISIS is most often sought to provide entertainment during receptions or cocktail hours. Their music can either be enjoyed directly as a performance or as a pleasant background that allows for conversations. The song styles of TRISIS range from the American Songbook to traditional classics to original compositions. In the fall of 2012, TRISIS released a first CD (A Traditional Christmas). During the first half of 2013, the girls have been in the studio working on their second CD featuring songs from the 1920s and 30s with an anticipated release date later this summer. TRISIS has been invited to perform at Big Top Chautauqua as part of the Tent Show Radio program in August. They will also be performing at the Central Wisconsin State Fair in August, Marshfield Maple Fall Fest and ODC's annual benefit in September, Lama Fest and Masquerade! in October as well as the Capitol Theater's (Madison WI) vaudeville cinema program in November. Looking further ahead, TRISIS will be opening for David Church at the 2014 Dairy State Steel Guitar Show in March of next year. TRISIS is actively involved in several areas of charitable works. The theme for much of our work "Children helping children" is reflected in the fundraising events where they have performed (e.g., transitional living shelter for families, local food pantries and pediatric transplantation). TRISIS also has been involved in support of military veterans (e.g., Honor Flight fundraiser). TRISIS has additionally lent their voices in support of hospice care by being the opening act for our local House of the Dove benefit dance.
