DESCRIPTION:
SOUNDPROOF is one of the most dynamic and versatile variety bands in the Houston area! All of our band members are seasoned, versatile professionals well versed in many musical styles. The word 'outstanding' has frequently been used to describe SOUNDPROOF...and with good reason! SOUNDPROOF does excellent versions of cover songs from the forties through the nineties and beyond, along with some original tunes. The band plays music from many different genres, including R&B, Motown, Disco, classic rock, jazz, country, swing, blues, and pop. When it comes to a variety of good dance music, SOUNDPROOF is sure to be a crowd pleaser!
SOUNDPROOF normally performs as a five-piece band, but we can also provide entertainment in the form of solo guitar, duo, or jazz trio or quartet. We can also add a horn section or violin and/or pedal steel guitar to meet your specific requests. A professional sound system and stage lighting is always provided for each function.

I can't say enough about the members of Soundproof. I held a private party planned for New Year's Eve. The venue was tough to find. Literally out in the middle of nowhere. We had few accomodations to offer the band(i.e. no stage, or covered area). The members of Soundproof immediately improvised to provide us with the best entertainment experience we could have hoped for. Their talent and energy made for a truly memorable evening.
