We play swing to current dance music, something for everyone at your event. We can also provide classic jazz during cocktail hour or dinner.

Multiphonic, a seven piece variety band, has the widest variety of music available from any live act in the Midwest. We specialize in making wedding receptions and corporate events memorable. We feature both male and female lead vocals with lots of rich, background harmonies. Our solid rhythm section of bass and drums is filled out with electric guitar and keyboards. We then add a final layer of horns with trumpet and tenor saxophone.

The members of Multiphonic are all highly trained professional musicians and music educators. Music is not our weekend hobby, it is a part of our every day life. Our expertise allows us to easily perform any style of music for any occassion. With Multiphonic, it's all about you. We will give you exactly what you want for your event. We generally contract four hours of music, but every event is different, and we are very flexible. Whether you need a light set of dinner jazz, or four powerful hours of dance favorites, we will make our music fit your needs.

So, you want to hear something that's not on our songlist? No problem. We can learn almost anything you request, and are always looking to add to our long list of songs. We have learned songs for first dances, sing-a-longs, ballroom dances, and even traditional ceremonial songs like Hava Nagila. We are also happy to emcee your event, and help the evening flow smoothly.
