THE JON BATES BAND is a unique blend of extraordinary musicians and vocalists, with a magical chemistry that has evolved from a passion for playing music, shared experiences, and deep personal friendships over many years. They have collectively accompanied and shared stages with many legendary performers. Without exception, they make a party come alive! They musically engage and inspire people to dance and enjoy themselves! This is a band that can satisfy any musical appetite, and is well known for their extremely broad repertoire of great songs from every era.
THE JON BATES BAND uses a professional state-of-the-art PA system to present high quality sound, with optimum clarity at an appropriate volume. This also allows clients the option of having digitally mastered CD's played during band breaks, and for those clients who prefer to have "Club Mixes" blended into their overall entertainment package, making the transition between live and pre-recorded dance tracks is never a problem.
THE JON BATES BAND always makes every effort to accommodate a client's wishes and exceed expectations. The standard instrumentation of the band is keyboards, guitar, bass, drums, saxophone, and an amazing male and female lead vocalist. Depending on the personal preferences, space, and budget allowances for each event, the size of the band can also be modified to accommodate a more intimate setting when necessary, and/or expanded to a thirteen piece orchestra, with a full horn section and/or other genre specific musicians when circumstances permit.
Once you confirm with THE JON BATES BAND for your event, the date is reserved for only you. The musicians and vocalists represented to you are the ones who will actually perform at your event. This is an extremely cohesive band, with a unique and very special chemistry. They have developed an extraordinary sound by playing together for years, and are available at a very fair and competitive price.

- Fantastic,terrific,exceptional,professional,wonderful- aren't enough adjectives to describe the Jon Bates Band! Easy to reach-easy to plan the special musical items for the wedding-their sound is fantastic- No one stopped dancing all night long! They have an extensive song list, and during the 2 short breaks,the taped music kept everyone on the dance floor so there were no lulls. They enhanced the wedding-weren't the show itself- I just can't recommend them highly enough! I know that we will go no where else for our next daughter's wedding music-and many guests asked for their name. - This was the first time in my life that I had a need to hire a full, 10-piece band. I was nervous at first, but Jon and the rest of the band made the whole process so easy. To put it simply, they are AWESOME! They listened carefully to my requests and made the whole night amazing! They played song after song and each time I would say to myself, "I love this song!". They really did a fantastic job and had the whole crowd dancing. - The Jon Bates Band performed at my wedding and they are the best!! Giving them our "special dance" song selections was virtually the only direction I gave, and I let them do the rest.
