WE'RE YOUR BAND
RAY STANLEY/KEYBOARD-
Ray began his professional music career as a studio musican in Tampa spanning thirteen years. After playing with Busch Garden's bands, he traveled with several other bands playing a variety of music and instruments. Ray joined the Motown circuit playing with Harold Jackson (Drifters), Doc Evans(Coasters), and Carl Knighton (Cornelious Brothers and Sister Rose). Later, Ray formed his own group, The Pocket Dogs, which played throughout Florida. Ray joined DOCTOR, DOCTOR! in 2002.
MELANIE PEAVY/VOCALS-
Melanie's powerhouse voice delivers a stirring performance. She has performed for Trisha Yearwood and has opened for John Berry. Her first public vocal performance came when she competed in and won Miss Tifton in 1991. She placed fourth in the Miss Georgia pageant and was the recipient of the talent award for her rendition of "New York, New York." She won a Nashville, Tennessee talent search contest in 1993, and recorded a professional demo in Nashville.
BUCKY FERGUSON/BASS, VOCALS-
Bucky started playing guitar in his early teens and worked as sound engineer for the early country rock band, Steamboat Springs, in the mid seventies. Always a fan of bluegrass music, he learned to play the dobro and spent ten years with Cedar Creek Bluegrass. After a fourteen year hiatus, and hungry to get back into music, in 2001 a friend, Jane Campbell, encouraged him to get a bass and come play with a group of older people, actually he was the oldest, who were forming a band. He and Jane are the only remnants of the orginal group that became DOCTOR, DOCTOR!
JANE CAMPBELL/DRUMS-
Jane has a lifelong facination with playing drums. Her enthusiam is contagious - part of the reason people of all ages feel the beat at DOCTOR, DOCTOR! events. Jane is the organizing force behind DOCTOR, DOCTOR! From initial contact with clients to fine tuning upcoming gigs, no detail is without significance.
BENNETT BARRINGER/MUSIC DIRECTOR, LEAD GUITAR, VOCALS-
Bennett, orginally from Memphis, has treated South Georgia audiences with his musical talent as a lead guitarist for years. Extremly versatile, he plays material from rock to smooth jazz. He has been active musically as a professional guitarist, teacher, band leader, and music director. Bennett has opened acts for The Drifters, Gary Lewis and the Playboys, Winona Judd, and Johnny Rivers. He was also a member of Percy Sledge's back-up band as well as the back-up band for The Platters.
DAVON LAWHORN/VOCALS,GUITAR-
Lead male vocalist and the youngest member of DOCTOR, DOCTOR!, Davon began his musical career singing in the St. Anne's Episcopal Church Choir. He was a selected member of the Georgia Music Educators' Association Senior High Men's All-State-Chorus, and the region 1AA State Champion Quartet.
HARRY KING/SAXOPHONE- Harry started his music career in middle school and continued throughout college. He has played in District Bands, All County Bands, All College Bands, and All State Bands. He has shared the stage with numerous gospel artists and professional jazz artists. Harry received a music education degree from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. He owns King's Productions, a recording studio, where he also teaches saxophone, piano, drums, and voice.
ANGIE CARR/VOCALS, TRUMPET-
Angie recently added her musical talents To DOCTOR, DOCTOR! as vocalist. Although Angie plays several instruments, vocals have always been her passion. In her position as Director of Music at Tifton's First United Methodist Church, Angie developed her interest in a wide variety of musical styles which include traditional and contemporary church music, popular music, and Bluegrass. Angie opened for The Isaacs and for many other musicians/musical groups. She has also performed for representatives, governors, and President Jimmy Carter. Angie brings to the band passion and experience...where she is, there is good music!

Feedback
- Doctor, Doctor was amazing and made our wedding! Everyone was dancing all night and had a blast. We chose them based on their sample songs from the website, but I can tell you they are even better in person. I could not have been happier with our band choice. -- Courtney S, Santa Rosa Beach, FL, 6/5/2010
- Doctor, Doctor! was amazing! They were very accommodating as we requested that they learn "Rocky Top" for our wedding. Although it wasn't their style, they learned it and performed it wonderfully! All of our UT fans approved! -- Kellye J, Savannah, GA, 10/1/2011
- Doctor Doctor is an awesome band. We hired them for an outdoor wedding reception for 300+ guests of all ages. They kept in contact with us continuously throughout the last few months. They learned new songs for the reception and did a fantastic job on them. They arrived in plenty of time. They were courteous and professional to everyone there. Everyone at the reception wanted to know where we found them. They sounded phenomenal. They played a dinner set while guests ate and we finished pictures. They announced bride and groom. Then they cranked it up for dancing. The dance floor stayed full the entire night. I would HIGHLY recommend hiring this band. -- Pat K, Lumpkin, GA, 5/30/2009
