Description
You have found the best party band anywhere. This fabulous band with its numerous, sensational singers is like having the American Idol Band and your favorite singers entertain at your wedding, festival or corporate event. We play it all from classic rock & roll to swing and shag music. We also play funk, dance, light country, 50's, 60's, 70's, motown, beach music, disco, and music of today. Everyone and every taste will be on the dance floor all night! Great singers, all those horns, fantastic energy, a world class drummer and the songs you just love. This is the band and party everyone will remember for years. Call us now to book your event.
Who is this guy? Andrew Thielen is one of today's greatest big band drummers and has played in drum battles with Louie Bellson and Ed Shaugnnessy of the Tonight Show fame. His big band uses a great array of male and female vocalists. He has done shows for Planet Hollywood and the House of Blues.
The big band brings all sound equipment, risers, lights and is formally attired in tuxedo vests of various colors and styles to fit your theme and settings. While the band plays most regularly in NC,SC,VA, WV,GA,TN & MD, they have also traveled as far west as South Dakota to play for the Mt. Rushmore National Monument 4th of July celebration.

Feedback
- Words are not adequate to describe our experience with the multi-talented Andrew THielen and his band and vocalist! Could we say "first class", "fabulous", or "incredible", or "beyond all expectation"? Not nearly adequate.
Andrew and his crew were appealing, pleasant and accommodating, and prompt, with great flexibility. They were prepared and in addition dealt with a rather complicated line-up with no preparation beyond email beforehand and a quick run through a few hours before the show. Last minute changes were greeted with ease and cheer.
Andrew communicated and responded promptly by email with me throughout this experience from booking to arrival at the event, was quick to lend ideas and complimentary and encouraging to our staff, event, audience and committee.
A talented vocalist, drummer, and maestro, you almost don't need an emcee for your event with Andrew's charm and charisma! This was indeed a quality experience for us.
That aside, 600 guests filled the room to capacity. The tables were filled and stayed filled from 7 PM til midnight with an audience ranging in age from 25 to 90 years old! The 40 x 40 foot dance floor was filled to capacity the entire evening. We could NOT believe that at 12 o'clock we had to tell a crowded dance floor that it was time to go!!!!! They just seemed oblivious to the time and lost in the evening!
Kudos to Andrew Thielen's Big Band and to gigmasters for "a perfect performance" We will use them both again!
