PROUD MARY is the tribute to the legendary TINA TURNER!
Chantel Steinreich, better known as 'Proud Mary', along with her husband John Steinreich, who is the bandleader, have been performing together since 1995 and they brought the PROUD MARY project to life in 1998, developing a tribute to the whole career of the queen of rock and soul. PROUD MARY's set list includes such early classics as 'Fool In Love,' 'Nutbush City Limits,' and 'Proud Mary' and Tina's pop successes from the 80's and 90's such as 'What's Love Got to Do With It,' 'Private Dancer,' and 'Thunderdome.' PROUD MARY is a Las Vegas-style performance package featuring a powerhouse band, backup singing divas, and dynamic dancers. The show has been experienced tremendous success at such notable venues as the HARRAH'S RINCON CASINO, PALA CASINO, HOUSE OF BLUES HOLLYWOOD and DISNEYLAND, BB KING'S BLUES CLUB, and the KNITTING FACTORY. The project has perfomed at a number of county fairs, concerts in the park, and private events. PROUD MARY has been featured on the local news affiliates in Fresno, CA and has received great local and national press in publications including the 'Ventura County Star,' 'Pasadena Weekly,' and the nationally distributed 'Los Angeles Magazine.' PROUD MARY is available for casinos, clubs, fairs, festivals, private parties, corporate functions, showcases and concerts.
