Description

The Saxmen offer a variety of great options.

If you are looking for pleasant and uplifting background music for your cocktail hour, dinner, fundraiser or other such occasion, then consider The Saxmen duet.

Consisting of two saxes, when combined with a three piece digitally recorded rhythm section, the finished sound is that of a very professional five piece combo. If you listen to the beginning of the "Summertime" or "Cute" videos we think you will appreciate the high quality and realistic sound of the rhythm section.

Our libary consists of many songs which were made famous by Count Basie, Duke Ellington, or written by Cole Porter and Hoagy Carmichael.

The era of our music also compliments a parent's or grandparent's anniversary or birthday party.

The Saxmen's Bose Sound System also permits for total control of our volume. The delivered sound allows for easy conversation among the guests even if they are located directly in front of the combo.

When additional entertainment is required, for occasions such as dances, concerts, weddings or parties, we will be pleased to include a vocalist(s) who will offer songs from the big band era as recorded by Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole and Ella Fitzgerald.

Eileen Howard is well known in Central Ohio for her vocal talents and is also active in the acting and directing community. She is very talented entertainer.

Mary Rose Molinaro and Jim Seitzer are gifted individual soloists. but will also combine their talents while singing entertaining duets.

Both Eileen and Mary Rose are great Emcees and love to interact with the audience.

After listening to our song clips, we think you will agree that there is no other combo quite like The Saxmen.

Also, in addition to the songs in our library, we also have a variety
of songs which are stored in our computer - such as lines dances or group dances (YMCA, chicken dance etc.) which can be played at your request.

On a personal note, Leo and Vince first began performing together during their high school days back in the mid 50's. They were together for six years, then apart for 37. Back together since 1999, it is obvious to all that they are enjoying their reunion.

A wide variety of references - beyond those shown on this website - are available upon request.

In these days of financial challenges, considering the Saxmen duet or the Saxmen with our vocalist(s) is an option worth considering.
"Quality Live Music" at an affordable price.

Finally, The Saxmen will be happy to pay the 5% gigmaster commission fee.
