Description

The Hightoppers are a swinging sextet featuring commanding vocals, rocking electric guitar and jazzy steel guitar producing a unique blend of western swing, jazz along with a pinch of blues. The band is composed of experienced professional musicians who adjust their volume and musical material to match any room - from intimate living room setting to small club to auditorium.

The Hightoppers can bring from 4 to 6 musicians to your event - depending on your budget, adding fiddle and trumpet always brings down the house!

The Hightoppers material ranges from background instrumentals to bluesy rock, honkytonk country and upbeat western swing - from a list of 75 tunes can be edited to suit any venue. Guitarist Ronnie Barnes, drummer Mitch Montrose and ace steel man Mike Johnstone share vocal assignments, further extending the band's broad range.
