Description
The Blue Vipers of Brooklyn are an early jazz, swing,
and blues band, composed of acoustic guitar/vocals, upright bass, homemade washboard percussion, trumpet and saxophone. Their repertoire includes jazz and swing from 1920's and 30's, classic blues and R&B, New Orleans music, Dixieland and a little country western when called for.
The Blue Vipers perform every Monday from 8PM to 10PM at Chez Oskar on the corner of Dekalb and Adelphi in Fort Green, Brooklyn. And, every Tuesday from 7:30 to 10:30 at Bar Tabac corner of Smith and Dean in Cobble Hill Brooklyn.

This band was the hit of our Inauguration Day party! We held the party at our home, and had families come after school. The band arrived early, allowing time to set up. They were professional in all transactions. They engaged the kids at the party in such a friendly and relaxed way! They had no problem keeping up enthusiastic and diverse music for three straight hours. The parents have been raving about their music and charm since. What a lively sound and energy they bring to an event!
