About
I am currently Professor of Music at Arcadia University in Glenside, PA. I teach Guitar, Bass, Banjo (4 and 5 string) and Mandolin. I have played with Grammy winners Diane Schor, Al Martino and comedian Rich Little, The Woody Herman Big Band and performed with the Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra. In the 70's I was on the road with Buddy Miles. I've done pit work for Broadway shows, Cats and Suessical the Musical. Recording work in Philly (Sigma Sound and Star Studios) Currently I do free lance work in the tri state area (Penna, Jersey, Delaware)

Stephen was very efficient with explaining to me the differences between types of banjos and even sent me a soundbite to be sure that's what I really wanted. When I arrived to the venue, 45 minutes early, he was already there, set up, ready to go! I thought that the music that I was hearing was piped in, but no, it was Stephen warming up.
During the event, our financial advisor pulled out his harmonica and started to jam with Stephen. They were GREAT!

He dressed like the old-time bango player with a red-striped shirt, vest and hat. He is a friendly, very interactive performer. He went around the whole room and played special requests at each table. This enabled the visually and hearing impaired residents to actually see the musician and hear the music. The Community was buzzing the next day with everyone talking about the evening. We highly recommend this performer for any senior living environment such as assisted living and skilled nursing. "
