South Coast Swing is a 16-piece swing band ensemble with a vocalist, and have been performing since 1982. We specialize in classic jazz and dance music of the Big Band Era from Duke Ellington, Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, etc. to the wide range of sophisticated contemporary big band sounds,Latin, and more modern swing jazz music (such as that of The Brian Setzer Orchestra.

We regularly rehearse in Laguna Beach on the 2nd and 4th tuesday evenings of the month, and our rehearsals are always open for auditions by potential interested clients.(Call for time and directions) In addition to their fine instrumental arrangements, the band also regularly features a female and male vocalist. There's nothing like a big band for your entertainment, dancing, and listening pleasure! South Coast Swing offers two to five hour performances at a very reasonable cost in Orange, San Diego,Riverside,and Los Angeles Counties. They can add a quality sound system for their needs as well as yours. The band attire options include tuxedos for formal events, blue blazers and gray slacks for other evening programs, or hawaiian shirts with white slacks for casual affairs. South Coast Swing is flexible to your needs and requests, and is always ready to perform for you. When you want to impress your guests with the rich full sound of a 16 piece Big Band, South Coast Swing is the logical choice.

• The band worked with us to make sure we had the event covered. We were able to freely communicate on selection. They provided us sound cuts for some of our more important song choices and we even had their representatives come to the site to verify the electrical locations and the dual location setup we wanted for the band with valueable input. Their performance was great, and everyone enjoyed having such a great sound for the wedding. Having a singer who was really good just added to the overall experience.
