Description
I'm a professor at the Berklee College of Music in Boston(going on eighteen years). I've had a long career as a jazz guitarist, working with Sammy Davis Jr., Cleo Laine/John Dankworth, Rebecca Parris and others. Also, I'm profiled in The Jazz Guitar, its Evolution and Players since 1900 by Maurice J. Summerfield(Ashley Marks pub., UK).
Mygroups play mainstream jazz/latin, as well as titles from the American songbook.

- If you want the very best in a jazz combo for your event, hire Jack Pezanelli and his group. From the very first e mail exchange to the last notes played at our event last Friday night (June 8th), Jack was absolutely wonderful to work with. He was immediately responsive to all of my pre-event questions, highly professional in his handling of the business matters of the arrangement, prompt in his schedule, and neat and fashionable in appearance. Most importantly, his music is top notch. The group for our event was a quartet (guitar, bass, keyuboard and drums). Each member of the group was excellent and the ensemble was terrific. I spoke with Jack only a bit about the choice of music, but he seemed to know exactly what I wanted. My guests were very complimentary. If you like jazz guitar, you will love Jack and his group. Finally, I think he may be the best musically bargain around. Jack, if you read this, you really should raise your appearance fee.
