"Steel Appeal" is a Tropical Steel Drum Band. I can perform as a Solo Steel Drummer, or with full band capable of performing music from Laid back Island favorites, Gentle Bossa Nova's, Smooth Jazz standards, Classic Rock & roll and everything in between. "Steel Appeal" can perform any style of music at any time, and all done with expertise. We are Full Time Musicians, and no request is ever turned down, if we don't know it, we will learn it.
I have played Steel Drums and Drum Set all over the world, and have been living in Newport, Rhode Island since 1992. Please call for a list of jobs, and corporate clients.

"If you want your party to be a success, you want to hire George and his crew.
They are the most wonderful and down to earth people you would ever want to deal with. They did everything we asked of them. Every song they played was something you know and wanted to either dance or sing to.
They played magnificently and their voices were some of the best I've heard in regards to bands.
We had a summer's end bash and they set the mood for what we wanted people to feel and appreciate.
Thank you George and Pat for a great time. They are still talking about today !!!!! And not just our people, all the others from our building. You were a hit !!!!"

"George and Paul came to entertain. I had e-mailed George several times prior to the event, and he always responded quickly and with the information I needed. He was also able to play my song requests. The duo was on time, friendly, and fun. All guests commented on their talent, and extensive playlist. They were a huge hit and added a lot to the party and atmosphere. The party occurred during the hurricane - and that was not a problem for the band. I can not say enough positive things about them. "

We had George play steel drums accompanied by Pat Cardeiro on guitar/vocals at a biennial event at our home. A GREAT time was had by all. If fact, at the end of the night we convinced George & Pat to stay for an additional set. Our guests just didn’t want them to stop. We hired George to play the steel drums at our cocktail reception for our wedding. He was there, set up and playing even before the first guests arrived early. Never had any problems....very professional and never had to worry about anything. All of our guests thought it was a great touch to have the steel drums playing out at the beach."
