Great music can be a rare commodity, yet sets the tone for any event. Upbeat Jazz/George Farrell Group performs a wide variety of music, ranging from traditional to contemporary jazz, fusion and smooth jazz. In addition to Sinatra, Cole Porter and George Gershwin, we also include various Latin and Brazilian selections by artists like Jobim and Tito Puente, Pop/rock of the Beatles and R&B/Motown sounds of Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye. We usually work as an instrumental trio or quartet, but we can add a vocalist to the group if necessary. We are happy to work with you and customize our musical selections to your taste. In addition to many live appearances, we have appeared on "TV Diner" on New England Cable News and "Jazz Talk" on Rhode Island cable TV. Let us set the perfect tone for your event!

• The Geo. Farrell Group is composed of very talented musicians. Their task for us was not an easy one. They were asked to provide a clinic for our school jazz members as well as perform for the school community in the evening. It takes very outgoing people to deal with the needs of students. The keyboard player was easily able to relate. In the evening, the adult reaction was very, very positive. Some parents thought it was the best performance in our five year jazz event history.
