A great professional wedding band, party band, and event band.
After playing in and leading numerous bands since 1975, Indianapolis' own Roy Geesa saw the need for an 'event' band which would rise above others by delivering tasteful high quality music experiences. Roy's vision of a GREAT EVENT BAND, PARTY BAND, and WEDDING BAND has been realized with the 'COOL CITY BAND'.
What makes the Cool City Band so COOL?
EIGHT decades of popular tunes to dance and listen to. Male and female voclaists including an original Motown vocalist. FIVE horns including a Grammy Award winning nominee on trumpet. Sound that you can use for toasts, speeches, and/or announcements. Tuxes, if you please. Bandstands with lights. An emcee if needed. A Trio for cocktail and dinner music when desired. Personal attention, as every event, wedding reception, or concert is different and SPECIAL.
Since forming in 1999, Cool City has recorded a CD and has just signed a contract with High Note Int'l Media Corp in Taiwan for a rerelease overseas. They are regulars on the third Tuesday of every month at the Jazz Kitchen, a premier club, in Indianapolis if you want to see them LIVE!
