Description

Brass Menagerie is a ten-piece stage band from Minneapolis/St. Paul. We feature a sizzling horn section with great vocals and generations of memorable music - everything from the hot swing beats of the 40's & 50's, to the early years of rock & roll, plus a large assortment of tunes from the 70's, 80's & 90's thru today.

We also feature great band tributes such as the Beatles, Chicago & the legendary Motown Sound - even some great Sinatra/Tom Jones type show-tunes. Our audiences always have fun and you can customize the playlist however you wish for weddings, themes and parties.

If you're planning an event and want it to be memorable, Brass Menagerie can help you put it all together. Since 1993 we've entertained the Twin Cities and surrounding region with concerts, dances, community events and special performances of all kinds.

Brass Menagerie - one of the Twin Cities' and Minnesota's best bands!

Our raving fans say:

You guys ROCKED. I had numerous compliments on the band, and we had such a good time. Everyone loved it. And the music spanned ages, so the dance floor was full all the time!

I am so glad I took Kathy's, John's and Kim's advice to hire you. They said I wouldn't be disappointed, and they were absolutely right.

If you ever need a testimonial, here it is. I'd be happy to vouch for your great talents any day!

Melissa V. Winter

Feedback

  • Brass Menagerie receives 5/5 stars for being professional, accomodating, and talented. We would definitely recommend (5/5 stars) them to anyone looking for a fantastic band, whether for a wedding, 50th anniversary party, or any occasion requiring a band that plays a variety of music that appeals to all generations. We were extremely satisfied with their performance (5/5 stars). The lead singer engages the crowd which gives their performance that personal, humanistic touch. They played for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary at a venue that has a small stage and dance floor, however the acoustics were fantastic, and there was space fo 10 band members plus dancing -- John B, Ellsworth, WI, 10/8/2011
  • It was a pleasure to have Brass Menagerie as a part of our wedding reception! All of our guests loved the music. We couldn't be happier! Thank you so much. -- Rachel B, Wausau, WI, 9/10/2011
  • THEY WERE WONDERFUL!!!!!! *The only reason that my husband and I gave them all 5s is simply because we could not rate them any higher. They were so great, they even braved a winter blizzard to drive to our location out of state! They were accommodating, professional and GREAT performers. The music was wonderful and we had LOADS of compliments on the band (one of my friends that is engaged was even asking questions on them). I would HIGHLY recommend the Brass Menagerie to anyone! -- Jazmin H, Sioux Falls, SD, 12/11/2010
  • My brother had hired the Brass Menagerie for his wedding 2 years ago, and when I got engaged they were one of the first vendors I booked. They did a fantastic job at my wedding as well. They played music that all generations could dance to and enjoy, and did a wonderful job learning our special request songs. Thanks Brass Menagerie!!!! -- Jacqueline K, Edina, MN, 5/22/2010
  • They were very entertaining, fun, talented, professional and willing to go the extra mile for us. Our guests constantly commented on how great and fun the band was. We would certainly recommend them! -- Ian Q, Minneapolis, MN, 10/17/2009
  • We got so many compliments on what a great band we had at our wedding! Brass Menagerie sounded great. I don't believe there was a single song that went undanced!! Thank you! -- Katie P, Owatonna, MN, 9/13/2008
  • We had an excellent experience with this band! They played a great variety of music that every generation could enjoy and they had people up dancing! • brass menagerie was the hit of my wedding! The variety of songs satisfied just about every guest, and everyone commented on the quality of their playing. The M.C. made the bouquet/garter toss and grand march hilarious, and they were even able to accomodate to some of my guests polka requests! -- Michelle B, Saint Paul, MN, 7/29/2006
  • This band was amazing! They played a wide variety of styles of music to please anyone in the crowd. The vocals and instrumentals were excellent and the songs were full of energy. -- Bonnie L, Miesville, MN, 11/12/2011
