Nothing can replace the excitement and audience enjoyment of live music performed by musicians who truly enjoy what they are doing. We perform a wide variety of music including swing, standards, jazz, blues and some classic rock. We are a quintet consisting of Sax, Keyboard, Guitar, Bass and Drums. Our vocal and instrumental arrangements are unique and enjoyed by all age groups. If you have had it with country, and hard rock is not your style, A Kool Nights Band is the one for you. In addition to dances and club gigs, we also have great sets that are perfect for background music at social events and dinners. If you want a wedding reception with sophistication give us a call. • A Kool Nights Band was awesome! They were perfect for a wedding reception in the setting of the Grand Concourse which commanded class and a great jazz sound. The band was extremely friendly and accommodating throughout the preparation for the wedding and during the evening. Everyone at the reception was impressed by how well they performed. • All I had to do was describe the feel we wanted for the night and they delivered. It was a fundraiser so obviously they had to play a lot of background. But when it was time to kick it up they did! Many commented that they were perfect for the night. Those that really wanted to focus on the music pulled up a chair, those who wanted to socialize could talk and not be drowned out by music. They even got our former mayor's wife and a local judge's wife to bust out the moves. I didn't think people would dance but they flocked for the slow songs and the fast ones. • There was a major blizzard which made commuting time 2-4 hours for a 30 min commute. Craig etc were late (but still much earlier than everyone else), stayed late and played for the crowd.
