The vocal stylings of bandleader Jeremy Shrader, who also performs on trumpet, are showcased in many variations of groups ranging from solo to his 16-piece big band, The New Memphis Hepcats. From our home base in Memphis, TN, we have thrilled thousands of guests from Little Rock, AR to Washington, D.C, since 1997. With a focus on swing, jazz, and American popular standards from the 1920s-60s, we are popular with people of all ages and walks of life.

All of our musicians are trained and experienced professionals, most of which are degreed in music - up to the doctoral level. Members of our groups have shared the stage with world famous musicians from Memphis and around the globe. A great number of the musicians are also educators in the local public, private, and university systems.

Our goal is to provide high-quality entertainment, combined with professional service and unparalleled value. Jeremy Shrader Quartet :: This four-piece group plays classic jazz and standards for ambiance and dancing. The beat is strong, thanks to our great drummer, and you'll love the way we get the floor moving after dinner. This group performs a great mix of instrumental and vocals that will liven up any gathering.

Jeremy Shrader's Quintessentials :: Vocal standards are the focus of this 5-piece ensemble, with a heavy dose of Sinatra. This is a smaller version of our popular big band, playing many of the same songs. This is great music for dancing and for impressing your guests.

Jeremy Shrader Octet :: All the elegance and style of a big band, but on a smaller scale. This band has four horns and a driving rhythm section, like the classic Hollywood wedding band. This is a smaller version of our popular big band, playing many of the same songs. This is great music for dancing and for delighting your guests.

Jeremy Shrader's Hot Memphis Seven :: The sound of 'The Great Gatsby,' 20's 'Hot Jazz,' and Old New Orleans. Clarinet, trumpet, trombone, banjo, piano, tuba, and drums provide an authentic sound and their repertoire of swinging tunes will keep your guests of all ages smiling. This group is available in many configurations, from two to eight pieces.
