Duchess and the Distractions capture a bygone era with their hip blend of Risqué blues, jump and swing, Bringing the fabulous 40's back. Fans of American roots music like Swing, rockabilly and early rock and roll have been thrilled to discover this new band. Their repertoire from the 40's and 50's include cover by artists such as Ruth Brown, Dinah Washington, Louis Jordan, and Louis Prima; these guys are Dillinger. Duchess Di and the Distractions were a featured act in the Peekskill Jazz and blues Festival this summer.
