Blue Monday Music String Quartet from Brooklyn, NY

Named after George Gershwin's debut opera, Blue Monday set in New York City, Blue Monday Music is a collective of seasoned professional chamber musicians that collaborate to form ensembles to suit a variety of musical tastes and events. All classically trained and graduates of NYC's top conservatories each of our players is also versed in jazz, pop and rock. Blue Monday Music is lead by violinist Jannina Norpoth who has collaborated with artists ranging from Itzhak Perlman, and Regina Carter to Jay Z, Beyonce and Keri Hilson and has over 10 years of experience performing and leading events in the New York City area. Ensembles featuring violin, viola, cello, bass, flute, harp, guitar and voice can be tailored to fit the needs of your event and can be a solo artist or duo, to a jazz trio or classical string quartet or even a large string ensemble. Classical, jazz, broadway, rock, pop and custom arrangements on request are available.
