The Juniper String Quartet, Trio and Duo is a professional ensemble offering a variety of musical possibilities for weddings and civil ceremonies, receptions, corporate events, house concerts, recording projects, holiday events and other special occasions in Greater Kansas City and the surrounding areas. All of our members are conservatory graduates and are full-time professional musicians. Our members have extensive performing experience, including performances at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, tours of Europe and Asia, and recordings for Ashanti, NBC, Atlantic Records and Rhino Records. Our members have also shared the stage with such greats as: Yo-Yo Ma, Itzhak Perlman, Clay Walker, Peter Gabriel and the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, just to name a few. Our ensembles have performed hundreds of weddings and events and have played in a variety of venues in the Kansas City area including: the Loose Mansion, the Simpson House, the Longview Mansion, Loose Park, Pilgrim's Chapel, Grace and Holy Trinity, the Madrid, Our Lady of Sorrows, Redemptorist Church, the Loretto and the Kemper Museum. Specializing in classical, jazz and pop string quartets, we can arrange your favorite piece for your special day!

About our ensembles:

The Juniper String Quartet-
String quartets are the most traditional choice for weddings. A quartet is appropriate for any type of ceremony, large or small. It is also an excellent choice for other events, including receptions, banquets and corporate galas. The string quartet is the best option for pop music and non-standard repertoire.

The Juniper String Trio-
String trios are our most popular option and are perfect for medium-sized occasions and offer a more affordable option for receptions and weddings.

The Juniper String Duo-
String duos are a great option for more intimate occasions. Perfect for smaller gatherings (and smaller budgets)!

Also Available: Cello Solos, Cello/Piano Duos. Flute, trumpet, clarinet or piano can be also added to any group to create a custom sound for your event.

• I was extremely please with every aspect of Sascha, and the Juniper String Quartet. Their sound was amazing, and completely made my ceremony. I was very indecisive about my song selections but Sascha was very patient and helped me decide. There were a couple of songs I chose that she didn't even have music for, but she arranged them herself. Their appearance was prefessional, their sound was top quality!
