The Hartford Strings and Winds is a professional group of talented chamber musicians from the Greater Hartford area. All conservatory trained, our players make every performance an artistic experience. Our group includes the standard string quartet, guitar, flute, trumpet, and harp. We specialize in secular and religious weddings, and have a wide variety of standard classical, Jewish and Irish selections. We also perform many pop and jazz tunes, and can arrange almost any piece that is not in our library. Our goal is to assist clients in choosing music that is right for their celebration, guiding them through the song selection process. We are happy to answer any preliminary questions you may have while choosing a group, so please feel free to contact us at any time!

I thank Quartetto Vivo for being such an important part of our party. Every one of our guests commented on how beautiful the music was and how they contributed to the memorable atmosphere of the evening. We made an almost absurd amount of special requests for the music ahead of time, and they accommodated every one. I cannot recommend them strongly enough.
