STEVEN KRAWCZYN (pronounced like ‘crossin’ de street soca-mon) is a one-man MUSICAL ISLAND EXPERIENCE, lithely playing single lead tenor pan (with 5 piece-band backup tracks) while singing your favorite vocals, ranging from classic calypso/reggae to pop-soca, latin-jazz to wedding-ceremonial, and the ever popular Jimmy Buffett tunes. Krawczyn’s professional appearance and attitude adds to any class-A entertainment event. His professionalism was developed over his lifetime musical career: Pro-drummer at age 12, and at 17 touring and recording nationally and internationally with Dobie Grey and Buffey St. Marie; Nashville studio recording artist with such popular singers as Crystal Gayle, Freddie Fender, Sketter Davis; TV appearances including a 2008 TV commercial for Sirata Resort Hotel. When not grooving at a private event, Krawczyn is weekly engaged at various Gulf hotel resorts and venues, including:Tampa Bay Yacht Club,Hilton Clearwater Beach and Safety Harbor Resort Spa. Bill Lorentzen.....Guitar/lead-Vocal/Harmonica
Biography;
Bill started playing guitar and harmonica at the age of ten and played in local bands, while growing up in Connecticut. After high school he attended Alvescott College in Oxford, England and Berklee School of Music in Boston.
After college, Bill moved to Los Angeles and played in popular dance and Top 40 show bands in Southern California and traveled the United States.
By the mid '80s, Bill had established himself in the L.A. recording scene, doing sessions for various Motown artists and touring with Edgar Winter and Maxine Nightingale.
In 1986, Bill opened Producers Studio, his first recording studio, with partner Peter Schless, author of the #1 hit song, 'On the Wings of Love.'
In 1991, he and his family moved to Clearwater, and he opened Power Sound Studio, and most recently, In Your Ear Music, a jingle and music production company.
Bill has recently recorded an album of Smooth Jazz and Latin songs with members of Kaleidoscope and other top musicians in the Tampa Bay area. The album Dreams and Adventures is available on iTunes, Rhapsody, Napster, etc.
VIKKI LORENTZEN.....Lead-Vocalist/Percussion
Biography: Vikki's singing career began with her studies in music and piano at age 9. She sang lead and in ensembles throughout her school years. While living in Los Angeles, Vikki did vocal recording sessions in a variety of studios and performed in concerts and night clubs. She studied under renowned Celebrity vocal coach, Roger Love. Vikki has been a member of Screen Actors Guild and A.F.T.R.A. since 1979, under her actor's name: Victoria Tan, starring in a variety of film, TV shows, in commercials, and on stage at the Union Plaza Hotel, in Las Vegas. In Florida, Vikki continued her recording session singing, and performed with a variety of bands at a number of events, private parties, weddings, corporate events and night clubs in the Tampa Bay. Vikki lends her beautiful lead vocals to TropicAllusion's fantastic sound.
