The Steel drum band, Tropical Shores, has been performing in and around Kansas since 1989 at various events including the Kansas State Fair, Hutchfest, parties, luaus, receptions and many other special
occasions. The group blends the sound of the islands with a bit of lively jazz to form a uniquely festive sound.

Tropical Shores is surprisingly affordable and can tailor a performance to meet the needs of the client. They specialize
in adding an 'island' flavor to any event and frequently do educational programs to further the art of steel drums.

The size of the group may be adjusted to fit the need and budget of the event. For instance, 2 steel drummers with our professional sounding backing tracks may work well for a smaller venue while a 4 piece group with 2 steel drummers, bass guitar, and drum set may be appropriate for larger events.

• We were so pleased with the quality of thier performance. Since this was an indoor venue the volume is sometimes an issue, but this was perfect. People could still have a conversation and mill about bidding on the silent auction and the steel drums just added to the ambiance.I had numerous people say how much they enjoyed the entertainment this year and many said it was the best we've ever had in the 11 years we've been putting on this event.
