Mark Dolin (sol Party Band)

SOL PARTY is a Caribbean music solo or duo with backing tracks, providing a full Island-band sound; based in Phoenix, Arizona. Mark Dolin sings and plays steel drum, sax, flute and keyboards. Mark was chosen to open for "The Beach Boys" in the summer of 2008! His island-band experience includes "Search Party," a popular Boston-based Caribbean band that appeared on "Star Search" and recorded original island-flavored music. Mark has entertained for many years in the greater Phoenix area, playing steel drum music for Bahama Breeze, Tommy Bahama's and the finest Arizona resorts and back-yard Caribbean and Luau parties. Mr. Dolin prides himself in his ability to read the audience and play the right songs at the right time. When it comes to parties, experience is everything. Mark has delighted audiences at hundreds of events.
Kaufee Johnson is a wonderful vocalist. Her fun spirit and superior talent come through in every song. Kaufee's vast experience includes singing with the world-famous "Marvelletts" ("Please Mr. Postman," Beechwood,") performing on the best cruise-lines (Princess, Royal Caribbean), vocals with Billy Paul and Al Wilson, and playing Vegas Hotels and Casinos - the likes of MGM Grand, Venetian, Mandalay Bay and The Bellagio.

• Mark was the perfect touch to a perfect day of grilling, drinking and backyard pool fun for 16 friends and family over the 4th of July weekend. His music kicked the party up and gave everyone the energy needed to have a good time in the AZ heat. • The Sol Party Band, steel drum band performed a variety of music, south seas, reggae, soft jazz, and learned special requests and incorporated them into the evening music. They were very thoughtful to the timing of their music to the dinner hour, dancing. The music was lively, had a great tempo and was fun to dance and sing to. Mark was at the steel drum and Kaufee and Mark sang beautifully together. Our party was at the Phoenician Resort in the sunset room.
