Kent Arnsbarger is a solo steel drum performer using an iPod to play VERY high quality backup tracks (all played & recorded by him) over a very compact Bose PA system. The sound files you hear on this page from his 4 CDs, 'Sounds of the Caribbean', 'Trip to the Tropics', 'Castaway Bay', & 'Island Blue', are the exact backup tracks he uses live, minus the pan. What you hear is what you get!

Kent has performed at hundreds of different venues from wedding receptions to birthday parties ,resorts & restaurants, Zoos & colleges, casinos and corporate parties . After (or before) the performance, Kent can also DJ your event with over 7,000 songs with many styles at his finger tips. Professional lighting can be added for evening events.

Kent has performed on television several times (along with a two hour interview on WGN radio) and has opened for the world famous Tommy Dorsey Orchestra. He also teaches percussion at La Porte High School in Indiana and is a classically trained percussionist from Indiana Universtiy.

While listening to other sound samples around Gigmasters, be sure to compare the quality of the sound, this is why Kent uses REAL percussion instruments and NOT midi sequencers or drum machines. Your ears (& your guests) will surely notice the difference.
