As one of the industry's most repected local bands, The "South Bay" Project has built its reputation on its innate ability to blend R&B, Jazz, Pop, Blues, Soft Rock and Gospel. Led by Drummer Amahl Lipkins from Detroit, Michigan "Mr. Motown" who embodies an edgy yet magnetic stage presence, the group emanates and electrifying energy while pouring its heart into every performance. Resistant to conformity, this Atlanta based band isn't afraid to push the boundaries of music or themselves. The most challenging part of this band was finding who we really were and blending all of the different sounds. After writing and recording some new songs the band is confident that they have found their niche with years of hard work and persistence under it's belt. We are all church musicians and vocalist who have been born again, God has placed us together for a common cause. To us music is more than just entertainment, let us share our gift of music with you.
