Doc Allen and the Heartstrings Jazz Trio from Nashville, TN

Doc Allen and the Heartstrings have been playing parties, conventions, and weddings in Nashville, TN since November 1997. We just played the National Governors Association at the Governor's residence in July 2014 and our first performance at the new Nashville Music City Center in August 2014. We are a trio of piano, woodwinds -sax, flute, clarinet, whistle-, and cello but sometimes add percussion and violin for bigger events. We play background music where your guests are able to hear each other talk. We are NOT a dance band. We can play acoustically or amplified, indoors or out. We can play next to the pool or even on a landing of a large staircase or anywhere in between. Our music is light jazz, pop, and classical with a little jazz signature. We play music from many eras including some popular original pieces.
