Palmer Jazz Project is a six-piece musical group based in Los Angeles. Their styles include smooth jazz, traditional jazz, R&B, blues and pop. Founded by Donald Palmer, son of legendary Hall of Fame drummer Earl Palmer, PJP has performed at venues such as Seabird Jazz Lounge in Long Beach, NOLA's in downtown Los Angeles, and the Upland Hills Country Club in Upland, California. The band has also played at Jazz Under the Stars at Santa Anita Park, where they opened up for Brian Simpson, Dave Koz's musical director.
