Description
Tricia Kelly - Originally from Boston, has been a favorite on the New England music circuit for years and is quickly making a name for herself here, in LA – entertaining audiences with her upbeat show and critically acclaimed vocal style.
She recently completed her second tour in IRAQ/Kuwait with her band, "Off The Wall" –
a tour band dedicated solely to entertaining our Troops overseas. And recently returned fom their 2nd trip to Kosovo to ring in the New Year.
She was a contestant in the pilot season of "Don't Forget the Lyrics!" on FOX.
In August, she had her first appearance at The Hollywood Bowl in and all-star cast of
RENT, directed by Neil Patrick Harris. In October 2010, she reprised her LADCC (LA
Drama Critic Circle Awards) and Ovation Award nominated performance as Janis
Joplin, Brenda Lee and Petula Clark in the South Bay Cities CLO production of
"BEEHIVE".
She continues to seek out new works which included a performance in the annual
ASCAP Workshop presented by Stephen Schwartz, where she played a multitude of
characters including Rocket Girl in Janet Cole Valdez's "Emerald Man."
She has performed with the legendary Bill Medley in "50 Years of Rock & Roll" at the
OC Pavilion in Santa Ana. She was chosen by producer Bill Medley (Righteous
Brothers) after seeing her perform at a karaoke show in Las Vegas! The successful
show opened the OC Pavilion and ran for just about a year. She recently had the
privilege to sing the duet "I've Had The Time Of My Life" with the legend himself on his
recent tour in Southern California.
Before leaving Boston in the winter of 2004, she received critical acclaim for her opening
act performance for KC & The Sunshine Band at The Cape Cod Melody Tent and her
2nd appearance singing the National Anthem for the Boston Celtics at the Fleet Center.
In the Studio: Tricia released her first solo recording project "Keep On Movin'" co-written
with Lester Goodwine (LFP Records) in 2003. With original music reminiscent of the
great hits of the disco era and some softer R&B and ballads, including "How Do I Stop
Loving You" by Artie Butler, who called her personally, to say how much he like her
treatment of his song. So much so that he accompanied her in her recent solo
appearance at the legendary "Sterling's Upstairs at Vitello's" in Los Angeles. Keep
on Movin' has also received critical acclaim and some radio airplay on broadcast and
internet radio stations. Actor/comedian Denis Leary's response to Tricia's performance:
"Your'e $%^-ing AWESOME!"
She has sung backups live and in the studio (including the backup vocals on Keep On
Movin') for many different artists: Gilda Betancourt, country artist Bob Berywill, Jazz
bassist, Ed Spargo, and others. She is expert at vocal harmonies and is herself a vocal
coach in The Deva Method ® and has been a certified instructor in the method since
1995.

Feedback
- Hi Tricia,
I want to sincerely THANK YOU for helping make
my Uncle Kenneth's Celebration of Life Memorial Service heartfelt, beautiful and a lasting tribute to a beautiful man and person.
Your voice is a gift and those of us fortunate enough to have listened to you sing those songs so beautifully will be forever reminded of him when we hear them - so, for that, thank you, thank you, thank you!
If we ever have an occasion to hire a vocalist or friends or family ask for a referral, I will most certainly suggest they contact you. Thanks again from the bottom of my heart and let me wish you a wonderful holiday season!
Kind regards, Rob

- Tricia Kelly is an AMAZING performer. She was so easy to work with and followed through with our suggestions for the songs we requested for our fundraising dinner. Not only does Tricia have a fabulous voice but she also has great timing, and stage presence. She had everyone singing and clapping along with her. Her warmth and enthusiasm as she went around to different tables and sang to individuals really enhance the show. Her impressions of Barbara Streisand and Janis Joplin were untouchable...I would definitely hire her again and recommend her to any group looking for an all around entertainer with a great voice. - Tricia has the voice of an Angel and her tone is pure and sweet! She has high energy and takes command of the stage– she is like the energizer bunny.Tricia performed for our St.Pat’s Dinner Dance party so besides some Irish songs she sang pop, rock, disco, country and show tunes. Oh my gosh, when she sang The Rose(Bette Midler),I Will Always Love You(Whitney Houston)and I’m Your Lady(Celine Dion)– those that were sitting jumped to their feet.Tricia has a wonderful personality and is also very professional. Our party was a huge success. We love Tricia Kelly and want her back! I advise hiring her while you can because this girl is on her way up!

- We found Tricia to be an absolutely outstanding performer. Her repetoire is vast and extensive. Her voice is amazing and her stage presence fantastic. Every person at our party came up to us and said how much they loved Tricia. I am sure she will get some more gigs from our party. She was friendly and great to all the attendees. Actually, I cannot say enough for how happy we are that we hired Tricia for our party, she made it a huge hit!!!!!!
