You will not forget or regret having Jeorge Holmes entertain, as he mixes the many styles of Sinatra, Presley and Pavarotti. The history of music is a wonderful story in Jeorge's life. His father was a professional singer and his mother could tear up the blues on the piano. His entire family has some type of gift and passion for music. Jeorge was raised playing the piano and organ and enjoyed singing in the shower and his bedroom, thinking no one could hear him (but we know his parents sure could). His father made sure he listened to the best; Caruso, Lanza, Pavarotti, Sinatra, Bennett, Cole, Presley and many more. As early as seven years old, Jeorge would try to sing like the great opera tenors and even traveled professionally, in his late teen years, as a top-rated Elvis Impersonator. He performs the big-band greats of Sinatra, Bennett, Martin, Cole, along with Groban, Joel, a great Presley sound and yes.....even Pavarotti's famous operatic arias. He was awarded the "Person of the Year" in 2012 for his work on
He is willing to sing/entertain at any event: restaurants, banquets, conferences, corporate events, fund-raisers, cathedrals and concert halls where he best uses his personality, voice and shares his personal stories. Side Note: Jeorge is an ordained minister and will also "officiate" wedding ceremonies when called on.
Jeorge also performs with Diva Montell, a dynamic duo. She is the daughter of an opera singer and Chicago entertainer Freddie Montell. She began singing at age six, studied in vocal performance at DePaul University and the American Conservatory of Music, with an emphasis in opera. Throughout the years she has sung with many Big Bands and Jazz Trios. Most recently she co-founded Diva's Crossing, which is an original band having a Jazzy Pop Mix of Adult Contemporary Music splashed with Soft Rock and Rhythm. She is also the recipient of the 2011 Leonardo DaVinci Award for Performing Arts!
