Acoustic guitarist and singer of a diverse influence, I have a playlist of cover songs from all over the era of Rock n Roll, including modern day hits as well as songs as far back as the 60s. I also write my own music in the Modern Folk/Rock style and can play from either repertoire on request. I like to give a high energy show that focuses on the fun and entertainment of the Audience and listeners, without taking away from a social atmosphere. Should people want to talk to each other, I don't drown out conversation with volume of music. Patter between songs is kept purposely short, brief, humorous, light, and then moving into more music as per importance of momentum of the evening. I keep my show clean and free of harsh words but I do not judge others' language. I am Always welcome to the idea of turning down if too loud or otherwise directed at any time. I am Not offended at the direction of a client. I also am very open to curtain call or encore as allowed by the client, and am Not offended if refused an encore. The show that I perform should be considered the oyster of the Client and Audience. The only limit I have is that it is impossible to know Every song every written, and therefore I can only play the songs I know. I keep ready a list of songs that I know and that Always makes the requesters happy. When someone does request a song outside of my playlist I politely inform them of that reality, AND I remind them that they DO have good taste in music and that they are intelligent and beautiful anyway. I have been told I sound like Hootie and the Blowfish, Gordon Lightfoot, Cat Stevens, James Taylor, Blues Traveler, Carbon leaf, and Dave Matthews among others.
