About
As a "world traveled" Disneyland Silhouette artist, Nancie Marie cut her wonderful likenesses for years at Disneyland Paris, Tokyo, and Anaheim. Classically French cut, her Silhouettes adorn walls worldwide. No drawing, lights or shadows, just straight cutting by looking at the sitter, often embellishing her work by adding ruffles, ribbons, bows, and collars.
Once the special black paper is cut into your likeness, it is then affixed onto 5" by 7" white card stock and place into a plastic sleeve. The Silhouette ("profile" or "cut out") itself is about 3 to 4 inches tall and only takes a minute or so to cut out.
Nancie's hand-cut Silhouette portraits are great keepsakes for young and old, and always a delight at any event. People often frame them, give them to Grandma, or put them into a scrapbook (very popular!). Brides love having silhouettes done of the wedding party and the guests. Babies turn out darling! "Mommie and Me" parties are fun for everyone.

"Nancy was such a sweet doll, talented, and such a hit at our reception. It was to the point where we had to tell people that there was a reception going on inside haha. Her work was amazing. It was definitely a surprise treat for our guests, who were probably expecting the typical cheesy photo booth, but instead got this unique momentum to go home with. Everyone was dying to get her information and wanting to know where I found her so they could use her for their next event. "Nancie Marie was an absolute hit at my birthday party. I didn't tell any of our guests that we were having a silhouette artist so it came as a nice surprise for our guests.
Nancie came early to set up and was ready to go at our agreed scheduled time. She was very accommodating to all the silhouette requests.
Our guests loved her and many of them took her business card for future events. I'm so glad we had Nancie at our celebration. She certainly made it memorable.

"We hired Nancie Marie for my son's graduation party. She arrived early, was professional and very talented. My son was apprehensive about having a silhouette artist at his party but as his friends and others started having their silhouettes done, he really enjoyed it! You can just imagine seeing all of these 17 and 18 year old boys comparing their portraits...it was really cute. I would highly recommend her to anyone interested in having Nancie at their event. "Nancie Marie was a great asset to my nephews 1st Birthday. She arrived early and did not require much of anything for the time she was there. Using GigMasters for the first time, she made it easy and was very organized with requests for herself and the billing prior to the event.
