Description
Master Silhouette Artist, Cindi Harwood Rose, is the world's fastest silhouette and finest silhouette artist. She can cut over 60 to 100 intricate detailed silhouettes per hour at events, free-hand without the use of a pen or pencil. Her likeness is unmatched, and her personality is magnetic. For weddings and other elegant affairs, Cindi can create a decorative personal border, to immortalize your occasion. Brides Magazine, Lady's Home Journal, Muscle & Fitness, Woman's World, Vogue, Texas Monthly, the New York Times, and The Houston Chronicle have all written up Cindi Harwood Rose's Silhouettes.
The Guild of American Papercutters calls her the premier silhouette artist. Her detailing is unmatched, as well as her likeness's. The esteemed Peggy McClard antique Gallery recommends Cindi Rose work, it is collectible, no two silhouettes look alike, and they are valued forever. A second generation paper cutter, Rose has silhouetted for over 35 years, all over the world, and for more celebrities than any other living silhouette artist!
Cindi has worked for Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman-Marcus, Macy's and Dillards, children's stores, school fund raisers and charity events. She has cut Silhouettes in France, England, South America, Greece, and all over the United States.
Cindi does Silhouette commissions, and her work is in fine art galleries and museums. Rose also gives speeches on the history of silhouettes and paper cutting art from around the world, and the collection of antique, valued silhouettes. She uses archival antique, French paper to create her masterworks. She can also be booked on a per person basis in stores.
Silhouettes by Cindi for Sensational Wedding: At this event, Cindi Rose makes two silhouettes, one for the bride and grooms's book, and one for the guest, making sure to put in all the details, including hair-styles, eye-lashes, ribbons, neck-ties, and veils.
Cindi can easily do all the guests, in a 4 to 5 hour wedding booking. Cindi Rose, can also help design your wedding, incorporating your colors into a silhouette table cloth, and into silhouette cookies and pendants. She gives the bride and groom two lovely oval frames with their silhouettes facing one another, to place on the back of the chairs. If you want frames or mats for additonal wedding gifts, Cindi can organize that for you, too.

Feedback
- Cindi is so talented, friendly and the perfect addition to making our wedding day special for us and our guests. She cut 2 copies of each silhouette- each guest got to take one home and the pasted the other in a scrapbook where each guest left their well wishes! It all turned out perfect and everyone loves their silhouette! Cindi was quick to reply to emails, full of creative ideas, she met with us prior to the wedding to do bride/groom silhouettes and was a true joy to work with. I would definantly reccommend her to anyone looking to add an extra touch of class and fun to their wedding! -- Katie M, Austin, TX, 9/10/2011
- Cindi was delightful, charming, beautiful and a huge hit at our wedding reception. While she works fast, the time she took with each guest left them each feeling special and enchanted by her skills and their silhouette images. She is sophisticated and poised in her appearance all the while being friendly, entertaining and informational about her talent and history of her art form. She sent our silhouettes well in advance for us to use.Our wedding would not have been as successful without Cindi's presence. Having our silhouette guest book is the perfect whimsical representation and memory of our day. -- Lisa P, Lincoln, CA, 9/30/2011
- Cindi is a gifted artist who is able capture each child's little personality in the art of silhouette. She is so engaging with her audience and each client. It was captivating to watch her cut each silhouette. I know these will be treasured by our parents for years to come. -- Allyson C, Houston, TX, 10/1/2011
- "Amazing" was the comment we heard over and over from our guests at our daughter's wedding last night. Cindi's talent is remarkable and we had guests that would not leave (even after bride and groom were gone!) until they had their silhouette done by Cindi. The catering staff and the venue staff all commented on the uniqueness of her talent and how well it went with a wedding reception. The portraits were beautiful and likenesses so accurate. Our guests and our daughter and son in law left with a special gift that will last a very long time. Thank you, Cindi! -- Sue Anne M, Austin, TX, 6/3/2012
