Santa Claus: Stories And Hope Santa Claus from Waldorf, MD

I genuinely enjoy people, and have a heart for making children smile. I appear in professional costume as Santa Claus, with a real beard and my own "padding." As such, I lead the group I am before in singing Christmas songs/carols, and telling stories related to Santa and the season, most of which are geared toward children, but which also interest adults, especially parents. Most of my stories are original, some told in traditional storytelling format, and others using slight-of-hand aids. My focus to to deliver hope, and the apex of my appearance is one-on-one time with kids. In a very traditional way, I ask them about their life and whether they have been "naughty or nice," and listen to their Christmas wishes. (I do not promise specific toys, but that I will do my best, and if unable to get what they ask for, I will try to make sure they receive something they will enjoy.) I am a 2009 graduate of the Charles W. Howard Santa School of Midland, Michigan. In my first season as a professional Santa, I appeared at a large county-sponsored senior citizen gathering, private/family parties, an elementary school, a hospital, various shelters, and a corporate Christmas party, and I eagerly anticipate my second. Prior to this, I have been a volunteer Santa, and a storyteller in various formats. I have transferable experience before groups and with children, having served as a minister for almost 25 years.
