The Rockabilly Strangers formed in 2006. The band's goal is to play the great hits of rockabilly and songs by newer groups inspired by the rockabilly legends.

Rockabilly music is difficult to describe, but most will agree it was the 1950's rebel music. To put it very simply, rockabilly is early country music combined with rhythm and blues. For example, Gene Vincent & Carl Perkins are both considered pioneers of rockabilly. The more popular acts like Johnny Cash & Elvis Presley both started out playing in the rockabilly genre. When you hire the Rockabilly Strangers, this description of music is what you can expect to hear. • The Rockabilly Strangers were an AMAZING choice for our wedding reception! Chris was very prompt and professional with all communication and the band was very accomdating to all requests in terms of arrival time, set-up, and song requests. The day of our wedding, we did not have to deal with any stress or issues when it came to the band. In my book, the less you stress me out...the more I like you. As for their talent, like a previous reviewer had mentioned, the band has a HUGE sound for only being three guys. They had a large repertoire of songs and kept up a high energy level for the entire reception.
