About
Comprised of five seasoned musicians, who have been playing an array of genres in multiple groups for many years, the Valleycats have been together since 2003. The Katz cover multiple genres such as classic rock, southern rock, oldies, country, reggae, and much more! This band is self-contained and all you need to provide is power and a stage and leave the rest to them! During set breaks, they can also act as a DJ to keep the energy flowing at your party. If you are inquiring about a wedding reception, their very talented piano player is also available for your ceremony music. Also an option, they can play your cocktail hour with all the great jazz standards. Your one-stop shop for all your entertainment needs and if there are any special requests for your event, they will gladly cater to your needs! Bill & Tina Swindell are members of the Alabama Music Hall Of Fame as songwriters and performers! Check out what their previous customers have had to say about them. YOU WILL HAVE AN UNFORGETABLE EVENT WITH THE VALLEYCATS PERFORMING! Their solid rhythmic sound, terrific vocal harmonies and fine musicianship rivals any band you will find in the Southeast. They know how to keep the crowd happy. Great crowd interaction is one of their finest assets. Their repertoire covers a wide variety of artists such as Aretha Franklin, Nora Jones, Anita Baker, The Eagles, Bonnie Raitte, Jimmy Buffett, James Taylor, Jet, ZZ Hill, Santana, James Brown, Eva Cassidy, Steely Dan, The Neville Brothers, with jazz and classic standards mingled in.

Tina --just had to let you know I heard so many great comments about the wonderful entertainment you and your group provided. Folks thought it was great to have you all there! Quite a few people who were not with NASA thought the entertainment was a regular part of the USSRC tour -- I heard one lady say, "well after hearing that group perform I'm not going to complain about the steep ticket price -- I think they should charge more to hear them!" High praise indeed.

"We loved the Valley Cats! They played at my daughter's wedding reception Nov. 22, 2008. They were very professional and easy to work with. Any time I had questions or requests, I e-mailed Tina and she was always prompt in responding. They were on time, took requests from the dance floor and played a variety of music. We received many, many great comments from our guest about how great the band sounded and we agreed with them completely. I highly recommend the Valley Cats! Besides their great singing and music, they were friendly, fun, and seemed to enjoy what they were doing."

"If you had a scale of 1-10...I'd have given them a 10!! Valley Cats are GREAT! Meeting them was like meeting old friends, not just conducting business! They are so talented, and I've had such great response from our party attendees....even the country club bar tenders said "best band they've heard at the club in a LONG, LONG time"! I would DEFINITELY request them again! I will definitely tell anyone I meet, to consider Valley Cats for their function! Their compassion and love for music, their professionalism, their warm smiles, and much, much talent! I am SO HAPPY we found them! IF I ever get married, they certianly be playing and celebrating with me!
