Appearances in 2011 include Milwaukee's SUMMERFEST (6 of the past 7 years), Wisconsin State Fair (two of the last 3 years), Corn Fest in Sun Prairie, WI, and free shows at municipal parks throughout the metro Milwaukee area --- as well as numerous other clubs, colleges, and private parties throughout the Great Lakes region. 2011 was also a banner year for weddings for Random Maxx, especially Aug and Sept during which they performed for 7 different wedding receptions.

In 2011, Random Maxx's female singer, Ms. Jamie Schlecht also received the Best Female Vocalist award in the Shepherd Express (Milwaukee's #1 free weekly newspaper) Best of Milwaukee Readers Poll. Three straight years, Random Maxx was nominated by the Wisconsin Area Music Industry (WAMI) for the award of 'Best Pop/Adult Contemporary Group or Artist' of the year (2003, 2004, 2005). Be assured that when you book Random Maxx, you are booking an industry-recognized, critically-acclaimed group of talented musicians!

An energetic and versatile 5-piece pop/rock band, Random Maxx has played for everything from major summer festivals to Renaissance weddings, from dance clubs featuring the best cover bands to intimate and noted original music venues, from sports bars to anniversary parties, from awards banquets to county fairs. We perform covers (Rock/Pop/Top40) from the 60s thru today, and have also released two original music CDs ('Senseless Beauty' and 'Rock Star Parking'), selections from which have been aired on independent radio stations throughout North America and Europe.

Random Maxx can supply their own sound and lights up to medium sized venues; however for larger locations, we will need to charge a little extra to bring in a professional sound company as necessary. Please let us know if you have any special needs for your event, and Random Maxx will be more than equal to the task.

• Random Maxx had a large part in making our wedding reception perfect. On a professional level, they met with us on a number of occasions. They helped relieve a lot of our stress by being very well prepared and organized. They accomodated numerous special requests for us. They learned new songs for our wedding, and played them for the first time at our reception with ease. They also DJ'd during their breaks, and handled the special songs like the cake cutting and first dances. The CD music they used for our wedding was a set list that we created. Instead of making us put the music on Cd and provide it to them, they burned it all for us, and played it in the exact order and at the exact time that we wanted it! I do not know many DJs or bands that would do that amount of work for one event. They treated us like we were their only event from start to finish, providing us with the indiviual attention that I didn't think was even possible. Talent-wise, this is one of the best bands we have heard. We recieved many comments at our reception and after about the quality of music that we had. A couple of times during the reception, guests thought they were dancing to CD music and in-fact looked up to see the band playing it! We feel as though we received a bargain from Random Maxx, they were worth far more than their asking price. They made a very special evening that more special. We did a lot of viewing of different bands searching for the right one. After all is said and done, we are confident in saying that no other band ( or DJ) could have provided us with a higher level of quality, service, and fun than Random Maxx!
