THE #1 COVER ROCK BAND IN SOUTHERN CA. DANCE ROCK IS OUR SPECIALTY. The TKZ are currently performing high energy danceable classic, pop and current rock & roll favorites. The TKZ regularly perform in the Ventura and L.A. County club scene and present a well polished, seasoned and professional show whether it be at L.A.'s trendy club scene or a private event. The TKZ travel with P.A. systems able to handle large and small events. The TKZ can also provide DJ services as part of their show for weddings and other special events that may require emcee hosting or songs outside of our extensive songlist. This dual band/DJ arrangement has proven to be a real crowd pleaser at past weddings and corporate events as our DJ and the band work together to provide a seamless stream of music that will appeal to all age groups. THE TKZ are: Melissa Jane - Lead Vocalist (Melissa Jane is a recent VH1 Rock & Roll Fantasy Camp winner). Nick Pappas - Lead Guitarist/Lead & Background Vocals, Synthesizer. THE TKZ ARE:

Melissa Jane - Lead Singer:
Born in Melbourne, Australia, she made her first T.V. appearance at the age of 7 and hasn't stopped performing since. A skilled triple threat, she has performed in numerous bands and shows throughout Australia. Her most recognized international success is fronting the pop R&B group Les BiJioux in Japan, hosting the T.V. show X-Beyond Surf on ESPN International and starring on VH1's Rock N Roll Fantasy Camp Season 2. Trained in opera, Melissa combines her powerful voice with a captivating stage presence to create a unique "front-woman" unlike anyone else on the scene today.

Nick Pappas – Lead Guitarist/Lead & Background Vocalist/ Synthesizer:
Nick brings 20+ years of playing experience to the band. Nick's influences run the gamut from classic rock to pop - his diverse influences let him blend seamlessly in a variety of styles.
In addition to Lead guitar and vocal duties, Nick plays synthesizer and can bring anything from a full horn section to keyboards depending on what the song calls for.

Jimi V – Rhythm Guitarist/Background vocalist:
Jim "Jimi V" is the group's rhythm guitarist and background vocalist. Jim first appeared on the LA showcase circuit scene in the late 80s playing in such clubs as the Whiskey, the Roxy, Gazzari's and the Troubadour, in the ever elusive quest for a record deal. His most successful project was with the rock group Rampage, who signed with A&M records in 1986. Prior to and after that period Jim has played in several successful rock cover bands playing all over southern California. Jim continues to bring his passion for rock music to the southern California nightclub scene.

John Marossy - Bassist/Background Vocalist:
John has honed his bass chops by playing everywhere from local clubs to national venues. John's influences span the musical spectrum. Performing, writing and producing with many artists has led him to co-create some of the most influential music over the years covering virtually every genre of music. On the cutting edge of the entertainment scene, John continually pushes the musical envelope. Playing with the Tonekillerz, John holds down the pocket producing some of the most danceable classic and current rock grooves in the area.

Adam Smith – Percussionist/ Lead & Background Vocals:
Adam is an incredible drummer bringing years of experience playing all of the area clubs and concerts with various local bands and artists. In addition to his drum skills, Adam's lead and background vocals could lead most bands on their own as well. Adam's incredible high energy drumming style is contagious, turning any club/party scene into a fun & rocking experience you will not soon forget.
