The ReVinyls originated as an 80's cover band but has evolved over the years to cover a much broader range of music from the 1960's through current. They specialize in alternative & B-side rock & dance music. The band covers many popular songs from artists like David Bowie, Badfinger, INXS, Tom Petty, The Black Keys, The Waterboys and The Cure. Guitarists JJ Loehr & Chris Douthit are also talented songwriters that have composed a handful of well crafted originals. The Revinyls recently completed sessions at Snake Oil Recording Studios and produced several original tracks in addition to a well received cover of the song Baby Blue written by Badfinger. All songs are posted on & The ReVinyls website for free . The band is currently setting up for more recording in our new home studio to capture some of the exciting new ideas that are happening.
The ReVinyls bring an energetic mix of classic and current music to every show. The group was GREAT! They played at Leckner Nissan's Grand Opening. They showed up on time, quickly got setup and played. Their songs were perfect for the audience and got people tapping their toes. They played a wide variety of songs, mostly rock songs that you knew the words to.
Overall they did a great job. I would recommend them for any event that you want. The cost of their service was reasonable and a value. The vocals were great. The sound system was perfect, the audio was clear but not overwhelming. They are very professional and hope to work with them again.
