Starting from a solo project, Omni hit up the old craigslist to see what he could see. After scoring a singer on craigslist, Omni started refining some tunage with him. While at work, Omni met Brent. Immediately they fell in love. Ok, maybe not, but he knew he played drums the first time Omni saw him. He asked him to come jam and finally after 6 months of obnoxious harassment, Brent bought a kit to replace his formerly stolen drums and they were 3/4 of the way to stardom. Omni and Steve began a friendship at Baker High School and slowly drifted apart over the years. Back in the day Omni helped Steve learn to pluck the strings guitar and decided to reconnect and pull Steve in to play "second string" (pun intended). Now short just a bassist, they set out on a noble quest to find the perfect low end moisterizer. Many have come and many have fallen to the might axe in this endeavour. Jason sits in the seat of judement now and must pass the challenge of rockery. Will he remain and prove worthy of the O.F.F. experience? Or will he sucumb to the pressures of women, drugs, and happy fun time music? Tune in next week to find out! Over time it became apparent that the singer was more interested in not singing and the decision was made to move Steve into the LimeLight. After months of preparation learning to sing and play at the same time, Of Former Fame was again up to the challenge of gigging.

In the early days of noisy garage bandery, the cops were called in to investigate the racket. Shortly after the v-kit was obtained along with the good stuff from Line6. Now practice is in hi-fi headphones, low volume rocking in various bedrooms while barely disturbing the picky neighbors. Thank God for technology. Fortunately we get to "crank it up f*cker" in our live performances and thrive on the mind blowing show.
Of Former Fame has been slowly gathering steam in the PDX area and is currently marketing online with a vengeance. You can hear O.F.F. on a variety of online radio shows on a regular basis and occasionally on PDX's own Rock 101 KUFO. With over ten thousand hits on their MySpace the fan base is growing with a determination only a B list celebrity on a reality TV show can appreciate. Despite all this, Of Former Fame is just getting started with the end game goal of rocking the undies off of every man, woman and child in this little place we call Earth.
