FlipOut! Rock Band from Brea, CA

FlipOut is Orange County's premier Classic and Modern Rock Cover band. FlipOut has wide and varied play list covering everything from Petty to Beatles, Smashmouth to Stevie Ray Vaughn, Eagles to Black Crows and the list goes on and on. FlipOut has appeared at Hennessey's in Laguna Beach, The Royal and Main Street Restaurant in Yorba Linda, Monahan's and London Pub in Costa Mesa, Don the Beachcombers and Bella Terra Mall in Huntington Beach, Fullerton Elks Club, Concerts in the Park for the City of Brea and the City of La Mirada along with numerous private parties, weddings and corporate events. The band has been playing together since 2007. Original members Phil Pinson, Garry Bates, Phil Koger, Randy Garell, were joined in 2012 by new drummer Mark Long. This 5 piece band consists of lead vocal, lead guitar, bass, keys and drums for a full sound and great harmonies. FlipOut is a band that shows up on time and delivers a great show. The band is easy to work with and will custom tailor their song list and show to your event. FlipOut has an extensive song list and can play a four or five hour show with no problem. The band is comfortable playing small venues and clubs as well as concerts in the park. The band is completely self contained and provides their own PA system but is also comfortable working with outside sound crews and engineers. In August of 2012 FlipOut completed their first CD and music video produced by Rip Morgan at Third Garden Studios in Costa Mesa. The music was mixed by world class producer and engineer Dennis Weinreich in London, England. Several of the tracks from FlipOut's CD have recently been played on radio station KOCI 101.5 FM based in Costa Mesa, California. The music and video can be found on YouTube and is available for purchase through the bands website. FlipOut is is about having a good time and a great event. The band encourages dancing and audience participation. FlipOut's lead singer often spends more time in the crowd than he does on stage!
