Dead Man's Army Rock Band from Los Angeles, CA

Dead Man's Army is a straight up rock band with singable tunes driven by a weighty sound. Our music has been best described as "hooky hard rock, radio friendly stuff." Somewhat like such bands as Foo Fighters, Nickelback, and 3 Doors Down, our sound is melodic and edgy but without the screaming and fuzzy guitars heard in many rock and metal bands. For the full rock band set (amps, drums, mics, etc.), we play primary original, hooky tunes, but will occasionally throw in a cover tune with our own spin on it. The rock band set is expanding constantly add music to our repertoire. We also do an acoustic set for quieter venues that combines solo acoustic performances of familiar 70s, 80s and 90s covers with our originals. Our lead singer/guitar player performs a solo set with some occasional help from other bandmates to supply the majority of the acoustic cover tunes and some originals. For longer events, we can either combine the rock band and acoustic sets or play entirely acoustic. We have everything necessary to play in any venue, including a 1600 watt PA that could easily fill the largest hall. Or we can play an entire acoustic set on your living room couch. We add to the entertainment of our sets by incorporating themes to add to the vibe of the event (our last show was "I Hate Valentine's Day" highlighted by a performance of a Joan Jett song). Dead Man's Army has members who are formally trained, including a BA in Music and lessons from world renowned vocal coach Thomas Appell. We are represented by the pro management and promotional company Restless Music Group who has represented such artists as After Midnight Project and Sick Puppies. We also record and produce other artists at Alien Phetus Studios in Whittier for extra income. This is not your average garage band.
