Description
I am a solo artist who performs both instrumental acoustic guitar music as well as singer-songwriter music. Similar stylistically to Neil Young, Ray LaMontagne, Jay Farrar etc... Playing guitar has been my life's focus since I started at age 5. I will be happy to learn your favorite song (or two) and will guarantee a heartfelt performance.
If you are looking for something a little different from your average wedding singer, I'm the guy. Please check out my feedback and my many videos on youtube. Whether it's just ambient background guitar music that you're looking for or a few sets of singer/songwriter tunes I will work with you to help make your event special.
I am a graduate of the Berklee College of Music and a veteran of the Nashville music scene. I provide a very professional service with a smile on my face, great equipment and attention to detail.

Feedback
- Throughout the entire process of planning the music for our daughters wedding, Jeff was a true professional. On the business side of things, he was prompt with his replies to our questions and concerns, and was more than willing to accomodate us on song selections. His playing was a wonderful complement to the ceremony, and we would recommend him to anyone. Thanks Jeff! -- Paul M, Boothbay Harbor, ME, 10/9/2011
- Jeff was accommodating and kind from start to finish. He was willing to learn new songs, answered emails promptly, and showed up on time with a smile on his face. He made our ceremony a truly unique and special moment and then provided the perfect back drop during our cocktail hour - in fact, for many guests, I believe he was the main attraction. You cannot go wrong. Cheers to Jeff!! -- Lindsay O, Waitsfield, VT, 7/9/2011
- Jeff played the acoustic guitar for my wedding ceremony and he did a fabulous job. The songs were played just the way we wanted and Jeff's playing sounded wonderful. Very talented and professional. I highly recommend Jeff Monkman. -- Kristy W, York, ME, 7/2/2011
- Jeff was amazing. He made a very important and emotional service exactly what it should have been and more. I give him the highest marks and highly reccommend Jeff. He was tremendous. -- Bill S, Manchester, NH, 10/23/2010
- Jeff did an amazing job playing at our wedding. He was very talented and even learned a song for the ceremony that I had requested. He traveled quite a distance to play for the short ceremony. It is evident that he enjoys what he does. Thanks again Jeff! -- Lindsay T, Carrabassett Valley, ME, 9/4/2010
