ROOTSTOCK -- The World Reggae Fusion Jam Band-- Rootstock is a highly respected 5-piece rock reggae group from the heart of Northern California, formed in 1983.
For over twenty years, performing at concerts and festivals in Nevada, California and Oregon, Rootstock has opened for such reggae greats as Third World, Israel Vibrations, the Congos, Zulu Spear, Messenjah, The Itals, Prezident Brown, The Wailers Band, Burning Spear, Wadi Gad, and many others.
known as Mendo's own, Rootstock has remained on the outskirts of fame...a name recognized for decades by many Nor-Cal locals, their kids, and their kid's kids.
