Booking R&B Bands

Combining jazz, gospel and blues, R&B music has been popular - in one form or another - since the early 1940s. Originally created by African-American performers for African-Americans, R&B bands are now drawing fans across cultural lines. This is certainly due, at least in part, to the wide reach of R&B music. From the distinctive style of New Orleans R&B music to British blues and contemporary R&B, bands have been influenced by some form of this genre for decades. From legends including Fats Domino to more modern groups influenced by the style including The Rolling Stones and The Who, generations have fallen in love with R&B music. Because R&B touches almost every style of music in some way, most people can't help but tap their foot or clap their hands even if they've never heard an R&B band before. The music is very contagious!

Tips For Booking A R&B Band
