The Tanglewood Puppets have been entertaining children and adults since 1969 with original hand puppets and original shows. We feature lively and interactive shows that encourage imagination and fun for all. We honor the past puppetry traditions with our versions of PUNCH AND JUDY and COMMEDIA DEL ARTE, as well as shows based on folk tales and myths from many lands and cultures. New this year are our DOG TAILS shows, plus SOCK PUPPET SHAKESPEARE and OFF CENTER OPERAS. We are now working on our Colorful Gypsy Puppet Wagon designed for outdoor venues. We feature short shows, musical numbers and skits within a forty-five minute framework, and thus can work in a special theme if you so desire. We have and can build commissioned shows at an additional cost. In addition to our hand puppet stages we offer WALK AROUND puppets for events, Fairs and Festivals of all sorts.
