Kalama Polynesian Dancers offers Authentic and Professional Polynesian Entertainment throught the Denver Metro Area. Kalama also has traveled to Ft. Lauderdale, Las Vegas, Wyoming,Orlando, New Mexico, and San Antonio, etc... to perform. We specialize in Classes, Performances, Workshops, and Fresh Flower Leis. Our packages are suitable for childrens birthday parties, weddings, graduations, school functions, nursing homes, corporate functions and MORE!
We have live Musicians and Tahitian Drummers also. Ask about our FIRE PERFORMANCES and Hula- Grams!.
Male and female dancers available as well as our J.R. male and female dancers. Keiki dancers as well.
*CHILDREN'S BIRTHDAY PARTIES- Our dancers will entertain your children by doing an interactive show. This includes a hula lesson, mini poi ball twirling, and a candy lei or fresh flower lei presented to your little guest of honor. We can even dance the LILO and STITCH dance for them. Our dancer is in full costume and can complete the show by doing the fire poi dance. We also do Island Facepainting and Candy Lei Making for additional costs.
*ADULT BIRTHDAY PARTIES- Our dancers will entertain your adult birthday by taking you on a nonstop, high energy journey through the islands of Polynesia. We offer one to four Polynesian Dancers (male or female) in full costume. Our male dancers will do the warrior dances of Samoa and New Zealand. By hiring more dancers you will experience 3-4 costume changes, audience participation, and a fresh flower lei presented to the guest of honor. You can add the fire poi dance or fire knife dance to any package for a spectacular grande finale.
*WEDDINGS- Our beautiful wedding packages may include only our spectacular Polynesian Shows or may also include party planning with Polynesian Party Planners! Our services include professional wedding planning including- a Professional Wedding Planner that will meet with you and discuss the details and expectations of your wedding, a florist that will meet with you regarding leis or decorations or wedding flowers for your big day, an entertainment specialist to discuss the details of your show, and also caterers that can help you with food choices.
Our Professional Show will include the songs and dances of Polynesia, Fresh flower lei presentation to the bride and groom, audience participation, fire dances, and we can include our popular number- The Beautiful Hawaiian Wedding Song "Ke Kali Ne Au" AND The Exciting Tahitian Wedding Song featuring the song "Haere Mai". Let us create the Tropical Wedding that you have dreamed of!
*HULA GRAMS are also available! If you are looking to surprise that special person and to make a lasting memory... hire us for a hula-gram! A hula- gram is a short hula or tahitian dance performed for your guest of honor. You may hire a male or female Professional Dancer. The dancer will greet your guest with the appropriate greeting word in Hawaiian ( ex. Hou Oli La Hanau! or Happy Birthday) the dancer will perform then present your guest with a beautiful fresh flower lei.
*DANCE CLASSES- Kalama Polynesian Dancers are also made up of Professional Instructors that teach children, adults, men, and women the art of Polynesian Dance. We offer beginner, intermediate, and advanced dance classes (Hula, Tahitian, Samoan, and Maori dances). We also offer fire knife and fire poi classes. Our prices are very affordable because we are affiliated and work closely with the Nonprofit Organization Halau Kalama. Our dance studios are located in Aurora, Colorado but we have taught workshops all over Colorado.
*FLOWER LEIS- Island Style Creations is Kalama Polynesian Dancers one stop shop for all of your party favors OR fresh flower leis, flowers, centerpieces, etc... ISC can make the most beautiful, authentic, and hand made fresh flower leis. "They were awesome! The dancer was so skilled in her performance and also allowed her fun personality to shine thru when interacting with our guests at the Bridal Shower Luau! The drummer was talented and a lot of fun. Great sense of humor! Their performance and wonderful audience interaction helped to make our even a wonderfully memorable event.
I was especially pleased that they were willing to work with me to stay within my budget. I would not hesitate to hire them again or recommend them to others. My daughter (the Bride) had an absolute blast being the center of attention and so surprised with her fresh flower lei. The whole show was simply spectacular!"

"I was very satisfied with their performance and their professionalism. They had excellent stage personalities and brought the guests into the act. The dances were wonderful and the fire dance was very exciting. The Hawaiian Wedding Song sung to the bride and groom was so special and something they will remember for years to come. They were great crowd pleasers, we had many compliments on their performance and I couldn't have asked for more. Thank you for making our wedding reception so memorable to so many.

"Our annual ladies lunch was a luau this year and the Kalama Polynesian Dancers were a hit with the group. Ages ranged from 95 to mid 20's and everyone enjoyed them. The children who danced were well on their way to competing with the adults. We would definately hire them again."

"Wonderful! I hired Kalama Polynesian Dancers for a Corporate event. They performed 45 minutes during our dinner. The dancers held the audience attention and kept everyone in the room. The event had a Hawaiian theme with our 2011 National Convention in Hawaii. The dancers put the people "in the picture" to want to qualify for this years trip. Overall, well worth the call. "

"We were so pleased with the Kalama Polynesian Dancers performance! They were so professional and fun. My husband and I have been to 2 Luau performances in Hawaii and the Kalama Polynesian Dancers out did them by far! I would definantly recommend them to any one looking to have a fun, interactive, professional luau performance!!

"The dancers were very professional from the first contact and all throughout the evening. My guests were blown away by the quality of show. They were not only very talented dancers, but very skilled in engaging with the audience. It was fun to interact, dance and generally laugh and play on stage with them. The fire dancer was also awesome -- a huge crowd pleaser and a big finale for the show. I would definitely recommend them, and I hope to use them again at my next luau."
