DESCRIPTION:
Obscured By Pink is a Pink Floyd cover band that also plays originals of the same genre. The band has performed for both indoor and outdoor venues with small and large audiences. Our sound system is capable of handling most any situation up to mid-large outside shows. Obscured By Pink utilizes lead guitar, bass, keyboard, drums, and lead vocals to recreate the essence of Pink Floyd and plays originals to be released as a CD in the summer of '09. The band is continuing to expand the light show capability and will soon be adding visual effects to the system. Originally the band was launched as a classic rock band which played covers from the 70's and 80's but due to common interests among the members evolved into the band it is today. The anticipation and reception has been excellent so the band has decided to continue to perform this material long into the future. Obscured By Pink performs titles from all Pink Floyd albums to inlude: Meddle, Dark Side of the Moon, The Wall, Wish You Were Here, Animals, etc. Also, by request, the band will perform some of the obscure material from earlier albums. Obscured By Pink would like to thank WDVE for their on-air support of the band on the night of the gig in Pittsburgh.
